CJC-1295 (No DAC)
Compound Overview
CJC-1295 (Without DAC), also known as Modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF 1-29, is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) engineered to improve stability while maintaining the biological activity of the naturally occurring GHRH peptide. Unlike CJC-1295 DAC, this formulation does not contain the Drug Affinity Complex (DAC®) and therefore does not exhibit prolonged albumin binding or an extended circulating half-life.
The peptide contains several amino acid substitutions that increase resistance to enzymatic degradation while preserving selective activation of the growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRH-R). These modifications make CJC-1295 (Without DAC) an important investigational peptide for studying endocrine physiology, receptor pharmacology, intracellular signaling, and peptide pharmacokinetics in laboratory settings.
Researchers continue to utilize Modified GRF (1-29) to investigate GHRH receptor activation, hormone signaling dynamics, peptide stability, and structure-activity relationships. Its shorter duration of activity compared with DAC-modified formulations provides a useful experimental model for examining pulsatile receptor stimulation and peptide-receptor interactions.

Laboratory Handling
Store refrigerated immediately upon receipt to preserve peptide stability. For extended laboratory storage, freezing at −20°C or below is recommended. Protect the lyophilized peptide from moisture, excessive heat, and direct light. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles following reconstitution, as these may reduce peptide stability. Allow the vial to equilibrate to room temperature before opening to minimize condensation, and always use sterile laboratory equipment together with appropriate aseptic laboratory techniques. This product is intended for use only by qualified research personnel operating in controlled laboratory environments.
